The Aplington student council is collecting canned goods and monetary donations for the Polo Food Pantry for Thanksgiving. Please bring non-perishable items to the Aplington office this week and next week. Last day of collection is November 19th.
The 6th grade boys basketball game that will be on Thursday, November 11, 2021 will be held at the Amboy high school, 11 E. Hawley Street.
Polo Schools' Covid vaccine clinic that was scheduled for Friday, November 12 for children ages 5-11 years old has been cancelled by IDPH and not yet rescheduled. We will alert families when it becomes available in our district.

We are having a 2nd order form for the Playoff shirts. It is the same shirts we had for the first order. If you want a shirt the order form and money are due back to the High school office by Tomorrow 11/9 at noon. No exceptions.

Middle school cheer practice has been cancelled for today.
There is a slight schedule change for basketball tomorrow. The 6th grade game will go on as scheduled. 7th grade will go on as scheduled. The 8th grade game is cancelled and there is no practice.
The 6th graders walked to Centennial this morning to join the 5th graders in a presentation with book author Aaron Reynolds. This group was supposed to see him when they were in 4th grade, but the pandemic had other plans.
